These two statutes take effect as of 6/11/20.

  • EHB 1694 requires us to offer a security deposit payment plan at the inception of the tenancy. The payment plan must be three equal monthly installments.
  • SHB 2535 prohibits us from charging late fees unless the rent is at least five days late. If the rent is more than five days late, we may charge late fees from the day after the due day until the rent is paid.
