"As a remote landlord, I have been dealing with Blue Sage for over 5 years now. In the past, I have dealt with other property management companies in other parts of the country. I would put Blue Sage at the top of the list of all the property management companies I have dealt with. They are professional, well organized, communicative, detail oriented, well informed of changing legislation, etc. I believe they also do a good job of communicating with the tenants to handle any issues which have come up. For example, la couple of years ago the heat pump went out and Blue Sage was able to quickly get multiple quotes and secure an installer so the tenant would not suffer in a cold house. Monthly, and at the end of each year, I receive a nice detailed summary of repairs, expenses, rental income, etc. which I can turn over to my CPA for tax preparation."

Because I live out of state and don’t make it up to WA as much as I would like, I needed a reliable property management company that I could depend on and basically not have to worry about it. Our communications have always included a sense of humor (I love that) and always pleasant. From the reviews I’ve read, I know my short term rental guests have been very satisfied with their communication if an issue came up (i.e. Wi-Fi out or an improvement suggestion). I can imagine that being a property manager isn’t always easy, but what I do know, is having Blue Sage manage your property makes owning property easy."

"I rented from them for a little less than a year in Sequim. They're house was by far the most affordable in the area. The house accommodated my wife, one year old, and our dog while we were in the process of having our house built. During that time there were minor problems with the house, including the AC unit that stopped working, and a rat problem in the basement area. During both instances, Blue Management responded promptly and arranged for a handyman or pest control to fix our complaints. Additionally, one time I locked myself out of the house and Blue Sage was able to get me back in, which was much appreciated. After our house was built, we ended up having to break our lease. Blue Sage was understanding of us having to break our lease and made the transition smooth for us. My only complaint is that at some point I was busy and had forgotten to take care of the lawn, as a result we got a letter on the doorstep reminding me to mow the lawn, the following rent for the month ended up being more simply because I neglected the lawn maintenance for a short time. I felt that this instance could have been handled better, I would have appreciated simply getting a phone call or email reminding me that mowing is the responsibility of the renter. Additionally, charging me extra rent for that month seemed a little aggressive in my opinion, especially considering that this was at a time of year when the most of the lawn was brown and dead anyways. Other than that single instance, I don't have any complaints."
